(Hereinafter “FBT”) is currently working on a couple of skin irritation cases that occurred on the area where the detachable face cushion cover for Quest 2 was contacted. This skin irritation is different from typical marks left on the skin due to pressure after using a VR headset. ◇ Most cases are mild and heal by itself, but this does not fulfil FBT’s high quality standards.
- Recommendations
- ◇ FBT has changed the manufacturing process of Oculus Quest 2, and it is believed that this change will resolve the skin problem. ◇ Any consumer who has experienced skin irritations (e.g. redness, rash, swelling, etc.) caused by the detachable face cushion cover for Quest 2 shall visit Oculus’s service team’s website (https://support.oculus.com/1504463656600795). FBT is working on developing a program that enables the product exchange, and once the program is operated, the website will be updated.
