These affected water heaters have a manufacturing fault that can cause it to malfunction and cause a fire. Risk of serious injury, death and/or property damage if the affected water heater causes a fire. Incidents have occurred.
Recommendations
Immediately disconnect the water heater from the power supply by operating the switch next to the device or disconnecting it from the power outlet socket. Contact Chromagen to arrange a free on-site inspection and to repair the affected water heater. Remove any combustible materials surrounding unit.
