- El arnés de cableado principal delantero puede entrar en contacto con un perno de puesta a tierra metálico porque, tras un cambio de armonización de diseño, los vehículos PHEV/BEV no estaban equipados con la tapa protectora utilizada en la versión MHEV. Con el tiempo, las vibraciones del vehículo podrían dañar el aislamiento del arnés, permitiendo que los cables toquen el perno de puesta a tierra y causen un cortocircuito. Esto puede conducir a una pérdida de funciones eléctricas y sobrecalentamiento de los cables, lo que aumenta el riesgo de un incidente térmico o incendio.
