- Una falla en la transmisión puede hacer que el vehículo entre accidentalmente en una posición de falso neutro y avance inesperadamente. En algunos casos, el sensor puede mostrar que el vehículo está «neutral» aunque la marcha esté enganchada. Esto significa que el vehículo podría comenzar a moverse cuando se cambia a Drive (D) o Reverse (R), incluso sin presionar el acelerador. Esto podría causar lesiones.
