- Because the safety mechanisms are easily bypassed, and because of the lack of a base plate, direct access to laser radiation during operation is possible. Looking directly into the laser beam or exposure via scattered radiation could damage a person’s sight. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Machinery Directive or with European standard EN 60825-1.
