- Official description
- The clearance/creepage distances between the primary and accessible secondary circuits of the LEDs are not sufficient, and the product lacks the appropriate insulation of the mains cable, external conductors and LED casings, and against humidity despite the product being advertised for outdoor use. Accessible parts can become live and the user could receive an electric shock from them. Furthermore, the product's electronic box can be easily opened and the cables are insufficiently anchored. Users have access to live parts of the product and could therefore receive an electric shock when handling it. Finally, due to insufficient endurance of the light string, the product may catch fire. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and of the relevant European standards EN 60598-1 and EN 60598-2-20.
