- Los vehículos afectados pueden haber sido equipados con generadores de gas Takata non-azide driver inflator (NADI) en los que el sellado inadecuado en el generador de gas podría permitir la entrada de humedad y, por lo tanto, provocar la degradación del propulsor. Si la bolsa de aire se despliega, esto podría hacer que el generador de gas se infle o explote. En el caso de la inflación, no se da el efecto protector. En caso de despliegue de sobrepresión piezas metálicas pueden entrar en el interior del vehículo, esto podría causar lesiones graves o fatales a los ocupantes del vehículo.
