- The solders in the product have an excessive concentration of lead (measured value up to 18 % by weight) and cadmium (measured value: 0.11 % by weight). Lead and cadmium pose a risk to the environment. Cadmium is harmful to human health because it accumulates in the body, can damage the kidneys and bones and it may cause cancer. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Directive on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS 2 Directive).
