- The plastic insulation of the USB cable contains short chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCPs) (measured value: 1.2% by weight). The placing on the market and use of articles containing SCCPs are banned. SCCPs persist in the environment, are toxic to aquatic organisms at low concentrations and bioaccumulate in aquatic life, posing a risk to human health and the environment. The product does not comply with the Regulation on persistent organic pollutants (POP Regulation).
