    As the company concerned uses the ESA drying factor, which is 7 for basil, this results in a maximum level of 8.4 mg/kg for the dried product. The analysis showed a nickel content of 3.8 mg/kg. Thus, the maximum level is not exceeded and the sample is not objectionable in this respect. The Dutch authorities are kindly requested to withdraw the notification for the reasons stated above.
