/// According to the list of ingredients, titanium dioxide (E 171) was used in the production of the sample in question. The use of E 171 in foodstuffs is prohibited under Regulation (EU) 2022/63. In accordance with Article 2 of this Regulation, foodstuffs manufactured in accordance with the regulations in force before 7 February 2022 may continue to be placed on the market until 7 August 2022. After this date, they may remain on the market until their best-before or use-by date. The use of E 171 in a product of the type in the present sample therefore does not comply with the provisions of Article 4(1) in conjunction with Annex II, Part E, Cat. 05.2 of Regulation (EC) No 1333/2008.
