    Belgian authorities consider this result, 6.4 +/- 2,6 ppm, as compliant with Regulation 396/2005. EFSA has fixed a processing factor of 0.07 for citrus-imazalil for the distribution between pulp and peel; see https://efsa.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.2903/j.efsa.2018.5453. For the consumed citrus pulp an observed result of [6.4 ppmx0.07=] 0.448 ppm should be used for the risk assessment in this case, meaning the PSTI will not exceed any ARfD and no serious acute risk should be expected. Therefore, the reported measurement uncertainty should be considered in order to evaluate compliance with the EU-MRL, and the result is then compliant. Belgian authorities would not follow-up on this result, nor ask for any measures from the implicated FBOs. Request to reconsider the non-compliance, this notification and its classification.
