///unofficial translation: During testing, the additive “titanium dioxide” was used in accordance with the list of ingredients. Titanium dioxide has been banned as a food additive by Regulation (EU) 2022/63 amending Regulation (EC) No. 1333/2008. According to Article 2 of Regulation (EU) 2022/63, food produced in accordance with the rules in force before February 7, 2022, may continue to be placed on the market until August 7, 2022. After that date, they may remain on the market until their best-before date or use-by date. Accordingly, the sample in question was produced after August 7, 2022, and the use of titanium dioxide is therefore prohibited. According to Art. 5 of Regulation (EC) No. 1333/2008, no one may place a food additive or a food containing a food additive on the market if the use of the food additive is not in accordance with this Regulation.
