    As the initial laboratory reports mentioned "palm kernel oil" these results were compared to the norm set for this matrix in the EU regulation 2023/915. However, it was later established that, due to an error in the laboratory system, palm kernel oil was incorrectly stated on their reports and that it was actually palm fruit oil. As a result, a different standard must be applied, which means that the results of the counter-analysis are compliant. The FASFC informed the Belgian party concerned and released the goods that were still present.
