Es handelt sich bei Azadirachta indica (Neem) um ein neuartiges Lebensmittel i.S.v. Art. 3 Abs. 2 lit. a) Ziff. iv) VO (EU) 2015/2283. Nahezu alle Pflanzenteile des Neembaumes sind von der EFSA im Jahr 2009 aufgrund des Gehaltes an Azadirachtin A und anderen Inhaltsstoffen als möglicherweise problematisch für die menschliche Gesundheit gelistet worden. /// Azadirachta indica (neem) is a novel food within the meaning of Article 3(2)(a)(iv) of Regulation (EU) 2015/2283. Almost all plant parts of the neem tree were listed by the EFSA in 2009 as potentially problematic for human health due to the content of azadirachtin A and other ingredients.
