Da es sich bei Sudan III und Sudan IV gemäß VO (EG) Nr. 1333/2008 um nicht zugelassene Farbstoffe handelt und der Zusatz unzulässig ist, wurde das Produkt nach Art. 14 Abs. 2b der VO (EG) Nr. 178/2002 als nicht sicher und für den menschlichen Verzehr als ungeeignet angesehen. Die Risikobewertung ergab, dass die Wahrscheinlichkeit adverser Effekte auf die Gesundheit gering ist. /// As Sudan III and Sudan IV are unauthorised colourants according to Regulation (EC) No 1333/2008 and the addition is not permitted, the product was considered unsafe and unfit for human consumption according to Art. 14 para. 2b of Regulation (EC) No 178/2002. The risk assessment showed that the probability of adverse health effects is low.
