In several postal packages delivered to Belgium, food supplements of the brand “Gorilla Mind” with ingredients Tongkat Ali (Eurycoma longifolia) and Turkesterone (Ajuga turkestanica) were found by our border control post at the airport. These plants are currently not authorized for use in Europe. Eurycoma longifolia is a non-authorized Novel Food. Ajuga Turkestanica is considered a Novel Food until proven otherwise. The safety of this substance is not yet established.
