On the Dutch web shop “Purity Labs”, several food supplements containing Tongkat Ali (Eurycoma longifolia) and Turkesterone (Ajuga Turkestanica) were identified. These plants are currently not authorized for use in Europe. Eurycoma longifolia is a non-authorized Novel Food. Ajuga Turkestanica is considered a Novel Food until proven otherwise. The safety of this substance is not yet established.
