CBD oils with recommendation for oral consumption on French web shop. Currently, only hemp seed and some of its derivatives (e.g. hemp seed oil) have a proven history of consumption as food before 15 May 1997 in the European Union. But no significant history as a food ingredient has yet been demonstrated for other hemp parts extracts and CBD extracts. They are thus considered novel foods and are consequently banned on that basis.
