CBD capsules and CBD oils on Swiss web shop, containing hemp extracts and CBD extracts. Currently, only hemp seed and some of its derivatives (e.g. hemp seed oil, ground seed, defatted hemp seed, the seed press cake, hemp seed protein) have a proven history of consumption as food before 15 May 1997 in the European Union. For the whole plant, leaves, flowers and their preparations (pressing of these plant parts, extracts, CBD, etc.), no significant history of use as a food ingredient has yet been demonstrated. They are therefore considered novel foods, therefore remain prohibited. In addition, we also found non-authorised health claims about CBD on the web shop (for example, “calmer les douleurs et les inflammations”).
