The investigating officer sent the remaining bottles of water from the multipack and the complainant’s sample to the Public Analyst Laboratory in Dublin and fungal growth was observed in some of the bottles. Musgraves Head Office advised that 6 complaints in total were received relating to an off taste from the implicated batch.
