According to the product description on the web shop “Dutch-Smart.nl”, Mitragyna speciosa (Kratom) is offered for sale as a food product. Mitragyna speciosa is considered Novel Food until evidence to the contrary in food. In some EU member states, kratom is banned because of classification as a psychoactive substance. This plant does not belong on the market as food. The web shop also seems to sell other unauthorized substances (like CBD, psychedelic substances ... but we did not investigate this further).
