Carbendazim: In spring onions (EU code 0220040) the residue of 0.998 (+/- 0.5) carbendazim is above the MRL of 0.1 mg/kg in Switzerland and the EU. The exposure assessment using Primo Rev. 3.1 showed a utilisation of the ARfD (0.02 mg/kg KG(Dir 06/135)) of 78.3 (+/- 39.2 )% in children. For adults, the ARfD exhaustion was 22.4 (+/- 11.2 )%. For children, the ARfD is thus exhausted by 117.5% in the sum of the residues together with the measurement uncertainty. Carbofuran: In spring onions (EU code 0220040) the residue of 0.108 (+/-0.054) Carbofuran is above the MRL of 0.002 mg/kg in Switzerland and the EU. The exposure assessment using Primo Rev. 3.1 showed an exhaustion of the ARfD (0.00015 mg/kg bw (EFSA 09)) of 1129.5 (+/- 564.8)% in children. In adults the ARfD was used up to 323.9 (+/- 161.9)%. For children, the ARfD is thus exhausted in the sum of the residues together with the measurement uncertainty at 1694.3%. For adults, the ARfD exhaustion, including the measurement uncertainty, is 485.8
