DNP (2,4 Dinitrophenoel) is an industrial chemical marketed as a fat burner, but it is unsafe for human consumption. It has caused at least 13 deaths in the UK since 2015. DNP is a toxic substance which can result in organ failure, heart attacks, intense vomiting, raid rise in internal body temperature and some fatalities. DNP is a highly unstable chemical product, that may decompose under the effect of various factors, causing fire and explosion. It is toxic by inhalation, skin contact and if swallowed. It is also toxic for the environment.
