- La lámpara carece de una pieza aislante en su zona inferior de entrada del cable que lo sujete y lo proteja de un posible deterioro por contacto con aristas. Como el cable atraviesa partes metálicas de la lámpara, al no tener esta la pieza aislante y protectora, las aristas pueden rajar el recubrimiento del cable que puede contactar partes en tensión, pudiendo provocar al usuario una descarga eléctrica al tocar la lámpara.
