- The affected notification devices may fail to emit a visual and/or audible alarm after a regular operating period of 11 months or more. Some, but not all, affected notification devices with speakers may then emit a sharp, continuous, and unpleasant noise.
- Recommendations
- It is necessary to update the firmware of the control panel power supply in all installations that contain affected notification devices. If the issue persists, the faulty devices must be replaced.
