- Es posible que la manguera de combustible de baja presión (LP) se haya colocado incorrectamente durante la fabricación. Una colocación incorrecta puede provocar que la manguera de combustible roce con otros componentes del motor y, con el tiempo, que se rompa. Si la manguera de combustible está rota, puede que haya una fuga de combustible de LP en el vano motor. Si hay una fuga, el combustible podría penetrar en el tubo transversal de recirculación de gases de escape (EGR), lo que podría provocar un incendio, el consumidor podría detectar un olor a combustible fuerte proveniente del compartimiento de motor.
