- Se ha constatado que en vehículos antiguos de las series F (sin reporte de fábrica por campañas de airbag previas), posiblemente se haya montado un airbag de conductor defectuoso, ello con motivo principal al reequipamiento de otras variantes de volantes en el vehículo. Por este motivo se realizó una conversión de las variantes de volantes Sport o M Sport. En este caso, si se acciona el Airbag del conductor como consecuencia a un accidente podría darse una presión interior demasiado alta en el generador de gas. En el peor de los casos podría explotar el generador de gas y las piezas metálicas del generador de gas podrían causar lesiones.
