- GENERAL MOTORS Norteamérica identificó que existe la posibilidad de que el airbag frontal del lado del conductor presente una eventual falla en caso de activación, rompiéndose y pudiendo dispersar fragmentos metálicos de su carcasa en el interior del vehículo. La ruptura podría causar que fragmentos de metal golpeen y lesionen gravemente a los ocupantes del vehículo. Además si la bolsa de aire no se infla, se podrían ocasionar eventuales daños materiales, lesiones graves o incluso lesiones fatales al conductor y ocupantes del vehículo.
