- The installation and routing of the Trollmaster wires within the trolling/kicker motor may result in electromagnetic interference, which may result in the fluctuation of speed and responsiveness. Even though the products are designed for use on trolling/kicker motors (small supplementary sources of propulsion), this could cause occupants to potentially lose their balance if standing in the boat. The installation instructions could result in consumers inadvertently route wires near high voltage wire harnesses, potentially causing electrical interference. This could cause unexpected throttle control, which could result in a potential loss of balance while operating the trolling/kicker motor, posing an injury hazard. As of September 13, 2024, the company has received no reports of injury in Canada.
