- Parts of the power chipper shredder can come loose inside the housing with the risk that pieces of metal maybe ejected from the chipper shredder hopper while it is in use, posing a laceration hazard. There are also reports of hoppers unexpectedly detaching from the chipper shredder, posing a laceration hazard. As of September 20, 2023, the company has received one report in Canada and 23 reports in the United States of parts coming loose inside the shredder housing during use, including some instance of damage to the unit. There are no reports of injuries in Canada or the United States.
