The batteries found in the animal style flashcard toy can short circuit. Risk of reproductive toxicity for children up to 36 months of age if they extensively chew or suck on objects containing DEHP. Risk of serious injury or property damage from fire or burns if the batteries in the animal shaped toy short circuit. An incident with the cable overheating has occurred.
Recommendations
Stop using these toys immediately and keep out of reach of children. For the rectangular shaped toy, cut the USB cable and submit a photograph of the cut USB cable to info@thekiddospace.com to receive a free replacement USB cable. For the animal shaped toy write “RECALLED” on the toy in permanent marker and submit a photograph of the marked toys to info@thekiddospace.com to receive a full refund. Dispose of both the toy and USB cable once the photographs are submitted in accordance with local waste disposal requirements.
