They may also pose a suffocation or strangulation risk if they slip around the child’s mouth or neck. These products are the subject of a safety warning notice . Risk of serious injury including spinal cord injuries or death to young children if the head strap alters the alignment of the head, neck and/or spine during a vehicle accident. Risk of suffocation or strangulation if the strap slips around the child’s mouth or neck. Incidents and injuries have occurred.
