The affected solar panels deteriorate and develop cracks on the back side of the panel, which could lead to live parts being exposed and could potentially make contact with live parts possible. Risk of death or serious injury as a result of potential electric shock or associated falls from height, if consumers come into contact with live parts of the solar panel.
