Risk and measures

Risk or hazard
A short circuit can occur in the charger when multiple wand-style GDX wireless educational sensors with damaged electrical contacts are plugged into the charging station. This can cause the charger to overheat and catch fire. Incidents have occurred.  There is a risk of a serious burn injury and/or property damage if the charging station overheats and catches fire.
