- Affected ballasts may have a fault that can cause a short circuit. The ballast may activate an RCD when started or short circuit and emit smoke or sparks. There is a risk of serious injury or death from electrocution and risk of serious injury, death or property damage from fire.
- Recommendations
- Consumers should immediately disconnect the ballast from the power supply. Check the part number on the left side of the ballast. If the part number is WU-ES7, consumers should contact Puretec on sales@puretecgroup.com or by phone on 1300 140 140 to arrange a replacement ballast for the UV system.
