- The swing was supplied with an overseas plug-in adaptor which is not designed for use in Australia. If used with an incompatible power source there is an increased risk of electric shock, which can cause serious injury or death.
- Recommendations
- Consumers should stop using the overseas plug-in adaptor immediately. Affected consumers will be contacted directly. Mattel will provide affected consumers with an Australian approved plug-in adaptor to replace the overseas plug-in adaptor, and will arrange for the return of the non-compliant overseas plug-in adaptor at Mattel's cost.
