Risk and measures
- Risk or hazard
- If the EBB does not operate correctly, the following may occur: 1. Cruise control cannot be set; 2. The stop lamp remains on even when not braking; 3. Flat battery; 4. More pressure needs to be applied when braking and an increase in the vehicle's stopping distance. This may increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death of vehicle occupants and other road users.
- Recommendations
- Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted and asked to arrange an appointment for inspection and repair, free of charge. For further information, contact Subaru Australia's Customer Relations Team on 1800 22 66 43 (Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5pm AEST).
