- The seat belt may not perform as required during a collision. If the third row seat on the left hand side is occupied during a collision, the occupant of that seat may not receive the full protection of the seatbelt system and may be injured or, in the case of a serious accident, be killed. The improperly restrained passenger may also present an injury risk to the passenger in the second row left hand seat position.
- Recommendations
- The third row left hand side seating position should not be used until the vehicle has been inspected and repaired, if needed. Consumers will be notified via email, SMS or letter and asked to visit an authorised Jaguar Land Rover retailer as soon as possible. The vehicles will be inspected and repaired as required, free of charge.
