- Tablets have been identified as having microbial mould growth ( Penicillium ) appearing on tableted product. This appears to be occurring after some time in storage and is visible to the naked eye as black or brown patchy spots. Penicillium mould can cause an adverse reaction, including an allergic reaction, and may pose a risk to people with weakened immune systems.
