- The balloons release an excessive amount of nitrosatable substances and nitrosamines (measured total value: 1.5 mg/kg and 0.34 mg/kg). Nitrosatable substances can be absorbed through the skin and mouth while playing and generate nitrosamines. Nitrosamines may cause cancer.
