///unofficial translation: Instead of the alkaloid muscimol, the sample was found to contain significant amounts of cannabinoids and semisynthetic cannabinoids (mainly Δ9-THCP, CBD, CBN-O). While cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally occurring phytocannabinoid, the high levels of Δ9-tetrahydrocannabiphorol (Δ9-THCP) and cannabinol acetate (CBN-O) indicate that the sample mainly contains semisynthetic cannabinoids and cannabimimetics. Δ9-THCP differs from the main psychotropic active ingredient in cannabis, Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ9-THC), in that a modified side chain in the molecule has a heptyl group instead of the pentyl group in Δ9-THC. The psychotropic effect of Δ9-THCP is considered to be much stronger than that of Δ9-THC due to the many times higher binding affinity at the CB1 receptor. Even small amounts can cause severe intoxication with hallucinations.
