Syria is not listed in Annex -I of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/405 and therefore does not have an approved control plan for residue monitoring of processed products of animal origin contained in composite products. Consequently, under Implementing Regulations (EU) 2021/405 and 2021/404, Syria is not a listed country for export to the EU of composite products containing milk. The rules for entry into the EU of composite products are set out in Articles 20-22 of Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/2292. The biscuits are therefore not marketable in the EU. They most likely do not meet the import requirements of 2017/625.
