- If conductive water, such as salted water or chlorinated water, permeates into the sealing around the control pad, due to repeated high-pressure cleaning or others, it could touch some part of the battery pack’s protection circuit, and, rarely, lead to a short circuit that would make it avoid multiple-layer protection device, which is embedded in the battery pack. ◇ If this kind of short circuit occurs in the charged battery pack, it could generate heat all of sudden, and catch fire, posing a burning risk.
- Recomendaciones
- ◇ Any consumer using the product should bring the Specialized bicycle or the battery to the place of purchase and get it inspected and fixed for reinforced water-tightness of the control pad.
