- A gasket containing asbestos is used as a part of a core drill. Research has shown that the gasket contains asbestos fibre coming in form of chrysotile. Simply touching a gasket containing asbestos does not pose a serious risk; however, the risk still remains if one breathes in fine asbestos fibre released out to the air. In particular, it has been known that it becomes more threatening when the gasket is broken, damaged, or scratched.
- Recomendaciones
- ◇ Customers should stop using the product and are advised to contain the product following the measures below. ◇ You are advised to check the safety warning information on FEIN website (https://fein.com/magdrill-care/?lang=ko_kr). ◇ You are advised to buy filament tapes in the market and tape the areas where the gasket is placed before storing it in the container (e.g. original case). You must wear safety gloves and an anti-dust mask (FFP3 type) available in a hardware store or on an online shopping mall to do this work. After the work, the gloves and the mask you used must be also contained in the same container with the drill. ◇ The manufacturer will collect your drill without any charge through a separate logistics company.
