- Health Canada’s sampling and evaluation program has determined that these children’s upper outerwear products have a drawstring at the waist which poses a risk of snagging on play structures, fences or other objects and also poses a risk of entanglement. Additionally, if the drawstring gets caught in a vehicle, the child may be dragged. As of October 4, 2023, the company has not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these products in Canada.
