- The lithium-ion battery in the parent unit viewing screen may overheat during charging, which could result in the battery swelling, melting, emitting smoke, or sparking and become a fire hazard. Risk of serious injury, death and/or property damage from fire if the battery overheats during charging and starts a fire. Incidents have occurred overseas.

You should dispose of the old parent unit once you receive confirmation it is a part of the affected serial numbers. Do not throw the old parent unit in household trash/waste or in general recycling bins. Dispose of the old parent unit by taking it to a certified e-waste or hazardous waste facility that handles products containing lithium-ion batteries.
