- The stitching of the seatbelt may come apart and separate from the buckle. There is a risk of serious injury or death as the seatbelt may not properly restrain an occupant in the event of a car accident.
- Recomendaciones
- Do not drive the vehicle if you think the affected seatbelt buckle is fitted to the driver’s seat. Do not carry passengers in seats that you think might be fitted with the affected seatbelt buckle. Contact Hemco on 1300 065 057 or the store where you purchased it, or had it fitted. If it is recalled, Hemco will arrange a replacement to be fitted at no charge. If the driver's seatbelt is affected, Hemco will arrange for the vehicle to either be towed to the place of replacement or for a mobile technician to be sent to the vehicle (or similar arrangement), so that the vehicle does not have to be driven to receive a replacement.
