- The earmuff headband force decreases over time when the P5E attachment arm is used in combination with certain hard hats. This could lead to the earmuffs offering less protection and more sound than intended to leak around the seal of the earmuff. There is a risk of hearing damage over time if sound leaks around the seal of the earmuffs.
