- The battery has inadequate sealing for a marine environment. This defect can cause the battery cells to corrode and the battery to leak, vent, overheat or catch fire. There is a risk of smoke and gas inhalation poisoning, serious injury, death, and damage to property if the battery leaks, vents, overheats or catches fire.

Consumers should return the battery to the place of purchase to arrange for the battery to be refunded.
